Our cottage is a "stand alone" comfortable self contained bungalow with a large sundeck, set
in a quiet private garden. It has a bedroom with a double bed and en-suite bathroom,
and a separate lounge/kitchen with two single beds, with dining table, TV and easy chairs. The kitchen part has a benchtop with a sink, and pots and pans and cutlery, a double element cooking plate, a toaster and an electric jug. It also has a fridge and a microwave oven. There is heating available and the beds have electric blankets during the colder season. Because the cottage has its own independent entrance, it gives our guests excellent privacy.

How to find us from Auckland, Taupo and Te Kuiti:
When you enter Rotorua (from Auckland), follow the signs to Taupo. Do not turn off at the first sign to City Centre, but go straight ahead till you see a sign that tells you Taupo is straight ahead and Whakatane/City
Centre is to your left.Turn left and follow the sign Whakatane and ignore the
sign City Centre later on.In the city centre you will see MacDonalds on your right and Valentines on your left. At the traffic lights go straight ahead and keep following the sign to Whakatane and later on Airport.
After you have passed through another set of traffic lights go straight ahead onto Te Ngae Rd. and soon you will arrive at a big roundabout/circle.
Follow Te Ngae Rd. straight ahead and take the first road on your right. That is Iles road, where
we live at no 30. There is a school and a big sports hall at the corner.
Map of how to find us. If you arrive from Taupo or Te Kuiti, you still follow the signs to Whakatane
but you won't pass through the city centre, but when you arrive at a set of traffic
lights turn right into Te Ngae Road and follow the sign Whakatane/Airport, till
you arrive at a big roundabout/circle, and then the same as above. From Tauranga/Whakatane: Go past Rotorua Airport along Te Ngae Road. for about 4 Km, until you come to an
open space on your left with houses and a long white concrete fence and
a street with a school with a big sportshall (Lynmore School) at the left corner.

If you arrive by bus or aeroplane, give us a ring, and we will come and pick you
